Poster Challenge!

Challenge

Teachers, encourage your grades 1-6 students to create posters or collages to help prevent distracted walking. Keep your community safe.
Contests have been held by PTAs in Pennsylvania and New York.

Why

Nearly 6,000 pedestrians are killed in traffic crashes every year any are children distracted by mobile devices. Tens of thousands of pedestrians are injured.

PTA Unit Prizes

Pennsylvania
First prize: $1,500.
Three runner-up units will win $500.
PLUS Winning poster design will be featured on Teen Kids News.

New York State
First Prize: $1,500
1 runner up: Grades 1 - 3 $500
1 runner up: Grades 4 - 6 $500
1 runner up: Special Artist $500
